- Gilles Kayser is a Luxembourgish photographer and high school teacher. Born and raised in Luxembourg, he finds intrigue in the observation of human life in the context of ever-changing cities. He discovered photography several years aga and has been passionately pursuing it since. His work is influenced by photographers such as Daido Moriyama and Greg Girard, bath of whom portray life against diverse urban backdrops. As an avid traveller with a fascination for east Asian cities, Gilles has been capturing glimpses of cosmopolitan life in Tokyo, Hong Kong and Chongqing among others, depicting the vibrancy of these scenes in black and white or colour. Gilles is a member of the Luxembourg Street Photography Collective.
